Event planners, brides and most importantly guests love a good take away gift, especially when it’s unique and something that can wow them. Event gifts (also known as bonbonniere – specifically for wedding/christenings) are a parting gift that thank your guests for attending.
The SE team have scoured and tested a myriad of brands that will give you inspiration with selecting the right gifts for your guests.
#1: Introducing The Alchemy
Etsy is an excellent way to scour unique gifts, and this little hidden gem, The Alchemy, uses Etsy as their primary way of connecting with potential customers.
The business is founded by Anna Nguyen, Cindy Ung and Vivian Chau who created something for everyone, using their trio of unique tastes. The Alchemy specialises in handmade products including; soaps and most importantly candles which was recently added to their collection.
The SE team have found the Alchemy products to be creative and simultaneously high quality, recently having styled them as individual gifts for an event we were working on.
The custom scents we created with this team was a beautiful Salted Caramel, Ocean Breeze and Saldalwood and Musk. This team can be contacted directly on Instagram @_thealchemy and as aforementioned, their Etsy store – thealchemyau.
#2: Creative place cards
Place cards are wedding favours twofold as your guests will know where to sit, and they are also able to take these home as their own party favour. We have frequently worked with 360DesignNcut on corporate and private events for place cards and other signage specifically, and it is a family owned run business located in Sydney.
360DesignNCut uses state of the art laser (Fibre and C02) engraving and cutting technology, which means they can engrave on a variety of materials. The owner Elizabeth works with her customers meticulously, ensuring she meets their every vision.
This team can be contacted via their website https://www.360designncut.com/ or also directly on Instagram @360deignncut.
#3: Candy Apples
Candy apples are also an adorable way to indulge your guests. Fifth and Bow have been working on the perfect candy apple for almost 3 years.
Their founder tasted the perfect Candy Apple on a holiday in the US, and set on bringing this idea to market in Australia, with their own unique version. They were in New York, on Fifth Avenue, and bow comes from the chic bow they add to each apple.
You can order their apples online via email and Instagram.
#4: Dried Flowers
The SE team love dried flowers, and we scoured Etsy for some of the best one’s we could find, in the below case, bunches of dried lavender from DantesLuxuryAU on Etsy.
#5: Tiny bottles of Limoncello
Finally, an idea our team hasn’t styled yet – tiny bottles of limoncello, which are a great idea for bridal showers, hens nights or corporate events. Buy tiny bottles, add a sprig of rosemary, creative name tags and you’re ready to go! The below tags we found from Crossvine Designs on Etsy.
Providing something for your guests to take home post event not only makes them feel special and appreciated, however they hold a keepsake to remember your great event by!
